There are a growing number of enthusiasts building custom quads that make substantial changes
to the chassis and powerplant finding themselves in a predicament trying to determine appropriate
gearing for their project.  A popular new trend is for builders to Siamese large displacement engines
from street bikes into a quad frame.  They are lost when it comes to selecting sprockets and chains
for the best gear ratio.  

Sidewinder Sprockets’ Engineering Department has produced a comprehensive Project Worksheet
in order to provide a free consultation on these build-up projects.  Every imaginable variable has
been identified.  The builder has to simply fill out all the fields of information and check all the
relevant boxes on the form and submit it to Sidewinder’s Engineers.  The information is reviewed,
analyzed, and subjected to computer modeling to arrive at a final sprocket gearing
