"A Chain with a Brain"
"Sidewinder Smart Chain"
"The new sidewinder smart chain is the most technologically advanced chain ever to hit the market, so they say. Sidewinder's
goal is to provide the longest-lasting, sealed for life chain with a very high-tensile strength. The chain uses O-ring that are
impregnated with patented, temperature-sensitive synthetic lubricants,so as the chain heats up to operating temperature
the o-rings lubricate themselves."

From Dan Web "SIDEWINDER TI-MOLY...The last sprocket you'll ever buy" "Ti-Moly (titanium-chromoly) is the Pinnacle of
quality in sprockets. In the seven years of production there has been NOT ONE failure...Virtually indestructable.
Krause/Sidewinder Ti-moly sprockets are the lightest non-aluminum sprockets made with 6 times the hardness of aluminum
and 3 times the hardness of stainless steel...with the added bonus of being 35% lighter than stainless. Precision laser-cut to
extremely close tolerances. Unlike stainless the Ti-Moly is not prone to bending. Even though Ti-Moly is super-hard, it is not
brittle.

Review of Sidewinder's Chain and Sprocket Set for the Honda 400EX
(written by PhilMoore@EXriders, Appended by EXriders Staff)
A Review of the Sidewinder Sprocket System. During a recent maintenance session with my 1999 400EX, I noticed the drive
system was showing some wear. I have known about Sidewinder since about 1988, when I bought my first quad, a 1988
Yamaha Blaster. During hop-up fever, I was noticing the flashy advertisements Sidewinder was putting out with the "self
cleaning" grooves machined in their sprockets. I never quite

BULLET-PROOF SPROCKETS? Sidewinder Long Term Product Evaluation
Stainless Steel For Long Life
Nov 1, 2005
By: Rick Sieman

If your name is Jeremy McGrath, your mechanic slaps on a new featherweight aluminum sprocket before each race. You don't
worry about it, because you don't have to pay for that expensive chunk of machined aluminum.
However, if you're like the legendary "average" rider out there, the thought of coughing up seventy bucks every few rides,
should make....

The Biggest-Baddest and Boldest MXer -- No rules, no holding back, nothing spared!
By: Brit Mansell
With as much power as we we're planning on putting to the ground, the stock drive components just weren’t going to cut it. Vic
Krause at Sidewinder was the next mark on our list. We called to talk with him about their new Ti series chains and sprockets. I
was a faithful Sidewinder supporter prior to this project due to the unbelievable durability of their sprockets. I still have a

1 SIDEWINDER SET ON 3 CONSECUTIVE BIKES
I put a Sidewinder drive system on my 01 YZF400 and ran it a year. Swapped em over to my new YZF426 and ran em another
season. They are now transplanted onto my YZF450 and into their 4th riding season. I don't know if they will ever wear out.

SUNSTAR DOESN'T SCRAMBLE WELL
In just one Pennsylvania Hare Scramble, the new Sunstar sprocket on my CR250 was hooking the teeth. My Sidewinder set is
going into it's 3rd season now and shows no wear. I have learned the lesson: Sidewinder's are the best bargain for the long
haul.
They get cheaper every time I ride.

HONDA CRF450 : 4....TAG : 0
My CRF450 was eating up aluminum TAG sprockets and cheap TAG chains every 4 weekends. I went thru 4 sets the first year.I
bought Sidewinders Ti-moly Titanium system and have already got 2 years on them and they still look good. The cheap stuff is
only cheap the day you buy it...

ATV Riders.Com Interviews Chuckie Creech
You’ve made the podium three other times this season and people have really started to take notice. What’s made the difference and
helped you step it up this year?
Well, I have Walsh A-Arms…Wayne (PEP Suspension); he’s a really smart guy and builds great shocks. I called him up and told him what
track it was and he told me what I needed for this race. Also Cycle Max…if it weren’t for them, I wouldn’t have that bike. Sidewinder Chain
and Sprockets has really helped out a lot, and so has Venom…if it weren’t for the motor, I wouldn’t have pulled that holeshot.

Over 70 Million People Saw This Happen
I'm the only man to jump the Grand Canyon (no chute, no net). I jumped rooftop-to-rooftop in Las
Vegas. Even my father, Evel, thinks I take too many chances. I don't take any chances on my sprockets
and chains. I only run sidewinder because my life depends on the drive system.

EVEN 100 HP CAN'T STRETCH A SIDEWINDER
I run a 100 hp mono-block, power valve-motored Banshee with extra large paddles. I ride the s@$$ out
of this machine over a 100 days a year. Sidewinder's Ti-moly chain hasn't stretched a bit. All my Quads
have Sidewinders and always will.

I ran across your website. I bet I've got one of the longest running Sidewinder sprockets out there. I have a 1981 KDX-420 I
bought new in 1981 ($1,600 back then).
I replaced the OEM sprockets with a Sidewinder setup in 1982.
That '81 KDX-420 still runs great and still has the 25+ year old Sidewinder sprockets. Here's a picture from a ride last month near
the Columbia River in WA:
